One of Algarve's most beautiful beaches is hidden between cliffs, located about 5km (3 miles) west of the center of Albufeira. It's rather small, but never feels too crowded (just avoid it on weekends). It's mostly frequented by young locals and tourists.

Praia da Coelha is a lovely beach, really picturesque, and maybe we were unlucky but each time we went it was incredibly busy and tricky to get a place to relax. The sand is very soft and deep and on really hot days is difficult to walk on. It's great for activities such as paddle boarding or snorkelling, but the sea gets deep fast so maybe not.

It's about a 15 minute walk from Praia da Coelha beach. There are bigger apartments if needed. I have just looked at past tripadvisor reviews for Praia da Coelha for October time, and it looks like the beach café would still be open at this time. Hope this helps a little, and enjoy your trip!

La Praia da Coelha está cerca de Albufeira y Armacao do Pera. Es bastante fácil llegar y aparcar (al menos en Septiembre no hubo problema ninguno). Se baja por una rampa/escalera. A pie de playa hay un pequeño chiringuito y zona de hamacas, si te vas un poco a la izquierda hay mucho espacio libre. Las vistas son preciosas.
