While in Piazza dei Priori, an amazing Medieval square crowned by a majestic palace, you will feel like you're Bella Swan, who came to Volterra to rescue her beloved Edward. Written August 6, 2022.

A good hub from which to explore the rest of Volterra. Fun shops, Gelato everywhere, and restaurants enough. Had a splendid afternoon there, before moving on to San Gimignano. The Etruscan Museum was interesting, too, and the Roman amphitheater was interesting. Very enjoyable drive to Volterra, and beautiful countryside. Loved it!
